London is blue! Lukaku helps Chelsea sink sorry Arsenal

Chelsea prevailed against the struggling London rivals Arsenal with a 2-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium Sunday evening.

The Blues earned their first goal through a summer acquisition and Belgium talisman Romelu Lukaku on the 15^th minute of the game. The goal came after the visitors hit the host on the transition where Reece James crossed the ball into the Gunners’ box allowing Lukaku to hit it with a first touch past Bernd Leno.

Arsenal dominated the game for the first 10 minutes but faded after the European Champions stepped up later to dictate the game, with Jorginho dropping deeper to help the defence of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Caesar Azpilicueta play from the back.

Attempts by the Gunners to bounce back were thwarted with the Blues defence clearing their lines promptly. In the 35^th minute, Reece James turned from the provider to the scorer this time after scoring after being fed by Marcos Alonso.

The game ended 2-0 for the Blues. Chelsea won their first game against their rivals after a long while, losing twice last season.
