Chelsea have won the Uefa Champions League for the second time in the history of the competition after beating Manchester City by a solitary goal. The Blues got the lead through the German attacker Kai Havertz who got an assist from Mason Mount on the breaking, skipping Ederson and scoring.
Manchester City tried to bounce back into the game but the English Champions failed to create enough chances that could get them over the line. It was Chelsea who squandered three one on one chances through Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic respectively.
Chelsea will now play against Villareal in the Uefa Super Cup after the Spanish team lifted the Europa League.
