Resurgent Arsenal bounced back at King Power Stadium to beat Leicester City 3-1 on Sunday in an early kick-off. The Gunners went into the match with some sparks after coming from behind to beat Portuguese giants Benfica in the midweek to book a slot in the Europa League round of 16.

The same fate befell them after Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans fired the Foxes in front in the sixth minute. But David Luiz then headed Willian’s cross in the 39th minute to level things for the visitors before Alexandre Lacazette netted a penalty in the additional time of the first half after Wilfred Ndidi handled Nicholas Pepe’s shot in the box.

Pepe then scored a third in the 52rd minute of the game sealing three points for Arsenal. Leicester remain third on the log with 49 points while Arsenal is ninth with 37 points.
