Man United sacks Ole Gunnar after Watford’s humiliation

English Premier League giants Manchester United have parted ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the club’s first-team manager just hours after a dreadful thumping by Watford.

Manchester United announced the decision on its Twitter page on Sunday afternoon.

‘’Manchester United can confirm that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left his role as Manager. Thank you for everything, Ole,’’ the club stated.

Ole’s dismissal came hours after British media reported that the Norwegian’s fate was sealed immediately when the board members summoned a crisis meeting to decide the way forward after the Red Devils lost 4-1 to Watford yesterday.
